| Prayer Ministry
Course held over 2 Saturdays in Bristol |
You have something very precious here that can be of tremendous
benefit to churches looking to develop their ministry teams. I experienced
great help in a current difficult area of my life. |

SEPTEMBER |
|
| Prayer
Ministry Course held at Meredith Road Baptist Church, Coventry, over
two Saturdays. |
God continues
to bless His people in a wonderful way:
- I feel I have drawn closer to God again
- The Lord really answered prayers. Many
things that were said encouraged me.
- The fact that people were praying before
the course was a real blessing to me.
- An opportunity to talk through, in Jesus'
presence, my hurts, and then to pray into them in a structured
way.
- Really a blessing to be ministered to
for a change !
- Being able to share and talk without
being judged.
- I particularly appreciated the personal
prayer session. Thank you !
-
Wonderful confirmation ! Glory to God !

JUNE |
|
| Prayer Ministry Course
at St Paul's, Leamington Spa |
Another
amazing time of seeing God's love and healing and restoring power
released:
- God dealt with family issues I had
been unaware of and released me
- I am free in many areas, and emotional
pain has been released and healed.
- To be told that I was the daughter
of my Heavenly Father filled me with joy. I had never heard it
worded like that before.
- The Lord has spoken to me through
the pleasantly long ministry time to bring healing and wholeness
to my life.
- I learned to call God ‘Daddy’.
I have never been able to do that before. I feel secure in him
- Jesus revealed things in my childhood
that I had forgotten & thought were insignificant, but were
keys in bringing release.
- Knowledge of walking forward in
new pastures – It is very exciting and liberating to know
that Jesus has plans for the future for me.
- Hope for the future.
- The love of the team, and God doing
immeasurably more that I could ever ask or think.

MAY |
|
| Prayer Ministry
Course at Offa House, Leamington Spa |
We give grateful thanks to the God of Love for all he did to bless
everyone at Offa House this year:
- "The Lord brought me out of darkness
into light"
- "I have been overwhelmed by God's
love and the care and compassion shown by those on the team"
- "This was my first prayer ministry
and it was wonderful"
- "The timing is always perfect - God
actually prepares you, prompting as to what He is going to do"

Regional Day |
We spent the
day thinking through the various aspects "concerning the Child"
from conception through to childhood and the many influences from
that period which can affect a person coming for prayer as an adult.
The day included a presentation by guest speaker from the Crisis Pregnancy
Centre. |

| First
N. Wales & N. Shropshire Regional Day |
Yesterday was the first
time that we had all met at one meeting. Although there are only six
of us, we live in Shropshire, Wales and Lancashire, and hence we have
corresponded much, but not actually met altogether. Having said that,
Maureen and I helped Andrew and Judi, last year, to do an Introductory
Day in Preston. And Brian and Jean, in Twyn, have introduced, and
used the principles when ministering to folks in their own church.
We had a constructive time. We formed our Regional Committee, as per
National Executive's latest decree, and we are now up and running
as a coherent unit. There was time to share how Jesus had helped us
in our spiritual journeys; we discussed resources that we have, and
shared ideas about the Region's development. There was also time to
pray with one another and the Lord graciously blessed that ministry.
It was a very encouraging day. |

South Midlands Training
Day with John Bedford |
There were over thirty
people to listen to John Bedford talk about helping people who are
not responding to prayer ministry.
He spoke from his own experience and provided some very valuable
guidelines to how to follow the Holy Spirit's leading in these situations.
Most of those attending could not fail to identify with John's assessment
of the effects of stress in today's world and will have noted his
teaching both for themselves and others.
The day ended with worship and prayer for
both encouragement and healing.
We are very grateful to John for covering this very important topic.
John's three sessions during the day were recorded on video and
copies of this can be obtained by contacting Lewis Stevenson on
01926 772547 at £8 each - BUT please note that these will
only be available for a limited period.

| Job
Finished in South Africa (we think) |
The
week after Easter saw what, for the foreseeable future, will be
the last trip by CPM to Cape Town. Last year (our fourth visit)
saw a smaller CPM Team than in previous years watch the South Africans
run a Course themselves. We reached the conclusion that "they'd
got it", and all they needed was further experience to really get
going. This year Hugh and Elizabeth Baker went to talk over practicalities
with the South African Transformed Living in Christ Team, and to
give some on the spot training as they ministered to one another.
Cape Town Courses have not been known for their levels of organisation,
and it was good to see people taking the administrative necessities
seriously. On the Sunday after Easter Hugh preached at TVUC and
Elizabeth preached at St. Chad's.
Des and Kathie
Roberts, who were instrumental in bringing Payer Ministry to Cape
Town, were still recovering from the shock of losing their elder
son Jeremy in a car crash at the age of 31, so weren't able to take
any part in proceedings. The core Team come from a wide spread of
churches, principally Table View United (presbyterian) Church and
St. Chad's Anglican church in the northern suburbs, and the St.
John's, Wynberg parishes (a group of evangelical Anglican parishes
who have for over a century been semi-autonomous from the Diocese
of Cape Town) in the southern suburbs.
Please pray for
- Hannes and Christine
Fehrsen, who are heading up TLC.
- Alison Williams,
Team member from St .Nicholas, Matroofsfontein. Alison lives in
Elsie's River, an area where, at present, it's risky for ladies
to be out alone at night. This gives her great difficulties in
being able to attend TLC functions.
- Debbie Bonanos,
Lenette Archer and Brenda Stauch, who are the core of the Prayer
Group at St. Chad's, and the St. Chad's Team members. Pray that
they can unlock the potential in all the St. Chad's people who've
been on Courses. St. Chad's is coming under continued pressure
from local Wiccans.
- More men!
- Opportunities
for Team members to pray with people between Courses. If they
can do this in a manner that makes them accountable to one another,
they will build themselves up as a united Team, and gain valuable
experience.
- Alex Harrower,
minister at Table View United Church. Alex isn't part of the ministry,
but gives invaluable support, encouragement and wise advice.
The week finished
with a Commissioning Service at which Team members were prayed over,
had hands laid on them, and were anointed and prophesied over for
their work. Unless specific reason arises, this will be the last
time CPM travel to South Africa. Our determination is to break past
patterns of domination from the centre, and TLC will act as an independent
body. They remain, though, in our affections and our prayers. |

MARCH |
|
| Prayer
Ministry Course at Malvern |
We
praise a faithful and loving God and Father who deals with us so
graciously. A time of tremendous blessing:
- Particularly appreciated the Prayer Ministry
and praying for others
- Being part of the ministry of healing
- The personal ministry was excellent
- The personal ministry was marvelous
- Thank you very much for giving us your precious
time and your kindness and gentleness
- The prayers were of great help
- Could we have more of these !
- Every part of the Course was sensitively handled
- I appreciated all of it !
- All of it was a very valuable experience
- To me the whole day has been amazing. I can't
think of anything that could have improved it. To have been ministered
to by such lovely people in God's presence and to be set free,
what more could anyone ask for. Thank you all for sacrificing
your time to do this and to bless us so much

| Prayer
Ministry Course at Woking |
17
people attended this course for ministry, with wonderful blessing
from the Lord:
“I hope and pray that my relationship
with the Lord will be able to move forward as a lot of anger which
had been buried for 50 years was released”
One who was attending a course for
a second time said “I thought the talks would be boring the
second time but found them equally interesting as they gave the
same truths but with a different perspective.”
We have a wonderful God, who cares
for each one of us as unique individuals - praise Him ! |

Welcome to wholeness day |
March
5th saw June Meek, the roving apostle, visit our region for a 'Welcome
to Wholeness' day, where the ministry of Christian Prayer Ministries
was presented. A well-received day, which resulted in six people
applying for the course in May and June. This will be run by Angela
Seaton-Mills. Further details on the CPM Diary. |
