West Wessex Region became an official Region of Christian Prayer Ministries in 2005 when the Executive Committee legally established Regions. During 2005, an election took place to elect a Regional Committee and Representatives to sit on the National Executive Committee.

Geographical Boundaries The geographical boundaries of West Wessex Region comprise Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath and North Somerset.

Regional committee. Those elected to serve on the committee for three years from 1 October 2011 are Clive Wentworth, David Walker, Karlynn Evans, Ruth McNeill, Roger Long and Raye Gregory. The Regional Committee elected Clive Wentworth as Administrator and Ruth McNeill as Treasurer.

Regional Representatives. Ruth McNeill was re-elected to represent the Region on the National Executive Committee, for three years from 1 October 2011.

Regional Activities. Prayer Ministry Courses, Prayer Triplets morning, Quiet and Social day (annual to replace Regional AGM). The Region currently holds Prayer Ministry Courses at St Edyth's church, Sea Mills, Bristol, but continues to actively seek links with churches within the Region. A Newsletter is sent out 2/3 times a year to CPM Members and those who have attended Prayer Ministry Courses.
