West Wessex Region became an official Region of Christian Prayer Ministries in 2005 when the Executive Committee legally established Regions. During 2005, an election took place to elect a Regional Committee and Representatives to sit on the National Executive Committee. Geographical Boundaries The geographical boundaries of West Wessex Region comprise Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath and North Somerset. Regional Committee Those elected to serve on the Regional Committee are Jackie Long, George Nuttall, Peter Rutter, Ruth McNeill, Ellen Selkirk and Elizabeth Nuttall. The Regional Committee elected Peter Rutter to the position of Secretary and Ruth McNeill as Treasurer. Regional Representatives The members of West Wessex Region elected Jackie Long and Elizabeth Nuttall to represent the Region on the National Executive Committee. Regional Activity The Regional activities include, Prayer Ministry Courses, Introductory Days and Evening Meetings for teaching and training of members. The Region is actively pursuing links with churches within the Region. |
